Absolute Beginner Hip Hop Funk 

  • No dance class experience required

  • Wear baggy pants and stretchy top with gym shoes (bring a water bottle)

  • Every Saturday 2.00-3.00pm at Dance Central, 268 Cleveland Street, Surry Hills start anytime

  • Casual $16 or $144 for 10 classes at Dance Central (available at Dance Central reception)

Where is Dance Central

  • Walking: Dance Central is located on the first level of 268 Cleveland Street, between Elizabeth and Chalmers (cnr Little Buckingham), close to Central Station (Devonshire Street exit).

  • By Train: The closest train station is Central Station. Once off the train take the Devonshire, Elizabeth St or Dental Hospital exit. Walk south on Chalmers street (against the traffic) along Prince Alfred park, then make a left on Cleveland. You will pass 2 narrow streets. We are at the corner of Little Buckingham St and Cleveland St (just before Elizabeth St). You can also walk south on Elizabeth Street (with the traffic) and make a right on Cleveland Street and we are the second building on the right hand side. For train timetables Phone: 131 500

  • By Bus: Both Cleveland and Elizabeth streets are major bus arteries and many buses stop 100 metres from that intersection. Here is an incomplete list of the bus numbers: 352, 372, 393, 395, 305, 308, 309, 310, 343, 345, X09, X10, X43. From Castlereagh St (near Town Hall) to Elizabeth and Cleveland, 309, 310 and 343 run every 3 minutes after 5pm. For bus timetables Phone: 131 500

  • By Car: There is plenty of free street parking on Chalmers and Elizabeth. The best parking is on Elizabeth, between Cleveland and Redfern Street.
